All of us have a deep-seated desire (way down in our musty nether-regions) to connect at a deeper level with that which is most true to us - be it God, source, sex, music, purpose, family, passion, body...
Billions of people across the globe go to churches, temples, mosques, mountain-tops, strip clubs, concerts, seminars... and buy books, have sex, take psychedelics, listen to music -- all in an effort to try and reach a level of deeper understanding, to help meet that primal need of connection and to express themselves. We all want to make sense of our lives and spend much of our time looking to align ourselves with those things we think will help us. The need is inborn and universal. But more than that...

I think what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive. As for resources for the journey, unfortunately most of what exists in the areas of personal development, spirituality and integral living consist of empty promises, lofty intellectual treatises, outdated bullshit magic bullets or angels and bubble-farting unicorns. Ugh. Not interested. I want something real. Something that genuinely adds value to our lives. I'm pretty sure you do too. That's why I'm here and that’s why I've created The Edge of Spirit.
